On August 14, 2023, the Government issued Resolution 128/NQ-CP on amending Resolution 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022 on visa exemption for citizens of: Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Republic of Italy, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and Republic of Belarus.
Accordingly, from August 15, 2023, visa exemption will be granted to citizens of the following countries with a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type and entry purpose, on the basis of satisfying all entry conditions prescribed by Vietnamese law:
- Federal Republic of Germany.
- French Republic.
- Republic of Italy.
- Kingdom of Spain.
- United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
- Russian Federation.
- Japan.
- Republic of Korea.
- Kingdom of Denmark.
- Kingdom of Sweden.
- Kingdom of Norway.
- Republic of Finland.
- Republic of Belarus.
The visa exemption policy when entering Vietnam for citizens of the above-mentioned countries is implemented for a period of 03 years, from March 15, 2022 to the end of March 14, 2025 and will be considered for extension in accordance with Vietnamese law.
